Located just off the Gledrid Roundabout on the A5, The Gledrid Cafe and Truckstop is easy to find. As you come off the roundabout and up the slip road, you'll see the Petrol Station on the left and the barrier for the cafe in front of you.​

The truckstop offers around 48-50 parking spaces, with parking available through SNAP. The hard standing car park is covered by CCTV and is Floodlit, with the Entry/Exit Barriers providing extra security. The site is the first to have the fully automated SNAP barrier system. Parking costs £30+ vat, which includes a £5 meal voucher and shower.

Inside, you're greeted by a spacious dining area, with additional outdoor seating to the front and rear of the building. The clean and modern layout provides a relaxing space out of the cab. There's also a large TV in the dining area.

The menu offers a wide selection of reasonably priced home-cooked meals, with something to suit most appetites. With weekly specials available.  If you are looking for food on the go, there is plenty of choice of hot food to takeaway, as well as snacks, cakes and ice-creams.

​

Facilities include toilets and showers, which are clean, functional, and perfect for freshening up after a long day on the road. The shower area also has hanging space and a table for keeping belongings off wet floors.

The staff are friendly and welcoming.

The whole place  has recently undergone a full refurb after the new owners took over, and the fresh décor and clean facilities reflect this.

​

The owners, who own also have another café close by on the A5, are keen to build a good reputation and hope to welcome truckers back time after time. They have lots of things in the pipeline, including a loyalty scheme, so keep an eye on their socials to stay up to date with future developments.
