Young sisters Phoebe and Millie, along with their parents from East Anglia, have become familiar and much-loved faces in the trucking community.
Inspired by their Grandad who drives a truck, truck spotting quickly became the perfect hobby.
What started as a simple pastime has grown into something much bigger. With more than 21.9k followers on TikTok, their account captures the girls standing on bridges waving to passing drivers, as well as their adventures at truck shows alongside Mum & Dad.
When asked what they love most about truck spotting, both girls said it’s the reaction from the drivers that makes it so special. From flashing lights to sounding horns, those small gestures make their day.
But the impact works both ways.
Mum recalls how one driver recently messaged her to say he had been brought to tears after seeing the girls waving from a bridge, as it reminded him of his own children waiting for him at home.
It’s such a simple act, a wave to a passing driver, but sometimes it can mean everything. Life on the road can be lonely, and those small moments of kindness and appreciation remind drivers that they are seen, valued and thought about for the work they do. It can turn a bad day around in an instant.

Truck shows have also become a big part of the family’s life, giving the girls the chance to catch up with drivers they’ve met along the way. Millie even has her own mini truck, which she has customised and continues to decorate with stickers swapped with drivers. While Phoebe has a soft spot for Volvos, Millie says Scania is her favourite and hopes to become a driver herself one day.
ForMum, the magic of truck shows comes alive after dark.
“I love seeing all the lights at night,” she says. “It’s a completely different atmosphere.”
One particularly special moment came last November when drivers learned Phoebe’s birthday was approaching. Wanting to make it unforgettable, they secretly organised a surprise convoy in her honour. Trucks, tractors and vans took to the roads, lights flashing and horns sounding as the girls watched from a footbridge, full of smiles and excitement. The local police even made an appearance bringing their mascot to meet the girls.
It was, without doubt, a birthday to remember.
The heartwarming moment was shared on TikTok, where it quickly reached more than 810k views, a touching reminder of just how special the trucking community is and how it always comes together when it matters most.
Phoebe was selected to be part of the East Coast Truckers Convoy last year, this takes place annually and involves around 100 trucks all taking a nominated child out for the day, making some amazing memories.
Several truck companies have reached out to the girls inviting them to spend the day learning about the trucking industry. The girls even get to ride about in the trucks on site. One of the companies they visited even named two of their brand new sister trucks after Phoebe and Millie which was a really big surprise for the family.
