Truckfest Lincoln
Truckfest events are organised by Live Promotions, with several shows taking place throughout the year across the England and Scotland.
Â
For many exhibitors and enthusiasts, the Lincoln event is widely regarded as the opening show of the season.
Â
The showground itself is fairly straightforward to find, although the roadside signage from major routes can occasionally be misleading and may result in lengthy diversions, especially for the public.
Â
From a visitor’s perspective, arrival and parking are generally well managed. Marshals efficiently direct vehicles into position, helping traffic flow smoothly once on site. Most parking areas are grass-based, however, so this is worth bearing in mind should the weather turn wet.
Â
Admission prices are higher than some shows, though this is understandable given that Truckfest operates as a commercial event rather than a charity-run show.
Â
The scale of the showground is impressive, with trucks stretching as far as the eye can see. A single day doesn’t feel enough to explore everything on site due to the sheer size of the event.
Â
Alongside individually entered trucks and vans, a wide range of fleet operators also attend, which always adds to the atmosphere and variety on display.

Many seasoned showgoers have perfected their weekend setups, complete with gazebos, bars, and party trailers. It provides drivers with an excellent opportunity to step away from work for a few days and spend quality time with friends and family.
Â
There is also an extensive selection of traders on site, selling everything from cleaning products and workwear to clothing, toys, and truck parts.
Â
Visitors can enjoy a variety of attractions, including monster truck rides, fairground rides, an indoor RC display, and a live-action arena operating throughout the weekend.

For those staying on site, shower facilities are available, and unlike many trucking events, the venue benefits from permanent, clean toilet facilities located throughout the showground.
Â
There are plenty of food options on site, however these can be costly, so it is worth noting in the far corner of the show ground there is a fuel station with a Greggs, a McDonalds and a Starbucks. All can be accessed from the show, you just need to show your wristband to get back in.
Â
Overall there is plenty to do and see at the show. If the weather is bad there is not a lot of shelter, equally if it is too hot, so it is worth planning you trip accordingly.
