Truckhaven is a privately owned truckstop, conveniently located half a mile from Junction 35 of the M6.

Built in 1990 the site can accommodate up to 230 trucks on its large tarmac/gravelled parking area. As well as being gated, fenced and floodlit, the parking area is covered by CCTV and has the addition of a security team on patrol 7 days a week.  The security team are on hand on arrival to ensure trucks are parked safely and with access to leave when required.

There is also a designated fridge and trailer swap area.

Within the main building there is a manned reception area where friendly staff are around to help with bookings and any queries you have.

The showers, washroom and toilet facilities are easily accessed from the main entrance and are clean and well equipped.

Next to the reception is a large well stocked shop which sells not only every day essentials, but a range of trucking accessories, food, drinks and even gifts.

The truckstop goes one step better when it comes to laundry by offering a full laundry service, not just machines. Perfect for those who may be away from home for longer periods.

There is a large  air-conditioned restaurant area with plenty of dining space, with cafeteria style seating. They offer an extensive range of food options all produced on site and at an affordable price, probably the biggest menu seen at a truckstop, so you are sure to find something that appeals.

For those who wish to have some time out of the cab and relax there is a separate bar area open from 4pm to 11pm Monday to Saturday. The space benefits from comfortable seating and a large screen TV, which is ideal for watching sports. There is free darts and pool available too.

Outside there is a seating area which is ideal for an evening drink when the weather permits. Making it a great place to socialise or just get that home away from home feel.

The site also has 25 en-suite rooms available, with a mix of twin and double rooms. Each is equip with a tv and tea and coffee making facilities, to ensure a comfortable and stress free stay.

At the entrance/exit to the truckstop is the fuel forecourt offering high speed fuel and Ad-Blue pumps. All major credit cards are accepted, along with, Keyfuels and UK Fuels.The high canopy (16’6”) ensures that even the largest vehicles can gain access. Located next to the forecourt is a convince shop so you can grab essentials on the go.

If that wasn't enough, the site is also home to a spacious Conference Room. Fully air-conditioned with high speed Wi-fi, the space can can accommodate up to 150 delegates. A well designed space to hold meetings, training days or conferences. Once a month the site is used to provide Driver Medicals, a convenient option for those who are local or just passing by and need to keep their licence up to date.

Truckhaven certainly offers everything drivers could need whilst on the road and away from home.  As the name suggests it is a real haven for truckers.
