Wessex Truck Gathering

The Wessex Truck Gathering, held at Frome  Cattle Market, is a well established one day charity event.

Taking place in March, it is the perfect start to show season.

It offers a relaxed, friendly environment that appeals to both drivers and families alike.

With over 100 trucks and vans on display each year, the event showcases and impressive and varied line up, ensuring there is something to capture everyone's interest

The hardstanding ground makes it the perfect venue whatever the weather, with the public car park is located right by the entrance.

Alongside the vehicles, the event offers a range of attractions, including traders, entertainment,  a popular truck pull and a dedicated kids zone which helps keep younger visitors engaged throughout the day.

Catering is well covered too, with a variety of food and drinks options on site. including a licenced bar. Facilities such as toilets are well maintained, contributing to the overall positive experience.

A highlight of the day comes in late afternoon, when the vehicles depart in convoy around 4pm. This provides a memorable finale giving visitors the chance to see the vehicles on the move, with many of them all lit up.

The family event is well worth a visit. Not only is it a well organised event with a great atmosphere, it raises money for charity.
